This amazing sequel to “Journey to the Center of the Earth” features Johnson as a stepfather who leads his children on an unbelievable excursion to a Computer – generated imagery island filled with massive and giant species of birds that dung on Luis Guzmán as if he’s on a big insect. Everybody appears to have merely come to earn their salary, yet “Journey 2” has one of Johnson’s most memorable on-screen times: “The Pec-Pop of Love,” wherein he rebounds a fruit off his heart and into the crowd, making full use of 3-D.
Central Intelligence
Kevin Hart was indeed the popular guy in junior high, and Johnson was the tormented child. Years later, they reunited at a reunion, and it comes up Johnson is now a global mega while Hart has become an uncharismatic business machine. They eventually end up rescuing the planet collectively. On paper, it seems a little bland, however, “Central Intelligence” is a truly charming, very amusing film that investigates the long-term ramifications of school maltreatment. Johnson is a government officer who is wrongly convicted of theft, Reynolds is a skilled burglar who meets his unexpected accomplice, and Gadot is a criminal mastermind who is exploiting both of them. There are no jokes, no action sequences that stand out, and all trio of the normally dynamic stars is woefully underused.
Baywatch
We’ve all heard a lot of things about Baywatch (not like the ones seen in F.R.I.E.N.D.S. show =D)! Another one of the greatest hits of our very favorite The Rock’s movies on Netflix.
Johnson plays David Hasselhoff in “Baywatch,” a situational spoof on a TV show that likely did not realize it was amusing. This is not an awful notion, and Johnson makes good use of it at times, but the movie’s sick taste of comedy and sloppy caricature undercut any effort at ingenuity. Whether you believe it or not, the movie justifies and deserves so much better

San Andreas
When the “Big One” strikes Californians, only Johnson can rescue the very day. Yeah, sort of. The movie is starring Dwayne Johnson, who portrays as a salvage chopper captain who quits his position and takes an aircraft to protect his own meager family, possibly at the expense of numerous others. This is not to suggest his motive isn’t comprehensible; it’s merely one of several aspects in this film that crumble under inspection. Nonetheless, San Andreas was not intended to convey a wonderful tale, and as a kitschy extravaganza, it does respectable work.

The Other Guys
Johnson has been in other policeman comedies where his appearance is a bit like a jest. Don’t believe me? You can also watch Reno 911: Miami for that. However, his presence in Adam McKay’s clever and irreverent The Other Guys movie is a real treat. Johnson appears with Samuel L. Jackson as the noble combat thriller model of federal administration, just to be killed abruptly, causing the other guys who are Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg to occupy the main stage instead. It’s a short bit, but Dwayne dominates it, and the remainder of the film is hilarious as well.
Gridiron Gang
This another one of the classic but highly successful athletic movies by Dwayne Johnson in which he transforms youngsters in a correctional facility institution by creating a football club is Johnson’s greatest real melodrama. Phil Joanou, the filmmaker, does not hold back in sensationalizing the terrible lives of these children with tangible anguish. Nonetheless, Johnson provides an amazing portrayal as the trainer who recognizes he is being controlled by his history, much like his team. The Gridiron Gang movie is built on a real-life tale, and it’s an uplifting one. The picture also illustrates that classic sports cinema formats can succeed, and possibly ever will

Pain & Gain
Pain & Gain, perhaps Michael Bay’s greatest film, features Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Mackie, and Dwayne Johnson as dimwitted heavyweights who abduct a billionaire and quickly find themselves far above their limits. This vicious, sometimes amusing comedy looks like just a Coen Brothers screenplay if helmed by Michael Bay and his audacity lends the movie a unique and insane style. Oftentimes, it’s overpowering, but the majority of the time it’s hilarious, and Johnson, as expected, takes the spotlight as a retired conman attempting not to do any more bad stuff and faltering terribly at every step.
The Scorpion King
Johnson repeats his starring character from Netflix one of the greatest movies, The Mummy Returns, however this time he’s a gallant and amusing twin-blade protagonist in Egyptian Civilization, battling mega-corrupt dictators, collaborating with evil sorcerers, and rescuing the day during a major combat climax. The Scorpion King movie embraces its ridiculousness and looks like something of a pricey pilot for a decent Xena turn. This is by no means a terrible idea as Johnson was born for parts like these and so justified it with his utter performance.
The Mummy Returns
Even though Dwayne Johnson appears in The Mummy Returns, it is difficult to call it a Johnson film. The bare-knuckle boxer appears in the movie for a brief introduction before reappearing at the conclusion as a digital scorpion creature. Though it’s Johnson’s debut significant part in a film, it merits a mention for that and (because the picture is so rambunctiously strident that it’s difficult to see) for that purpose only.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation
Because of anything it’s worthwhile, the follow-up to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is far better than the original. The majority of the original characters are murdered in Jon M. Chu’s movie, allowing fresh actors, led by Johnson, to gain the limelight. The villainous group Cobra has seized up Americans and launched a battle on the Joes in the movie, claiming that the sole thing that can thwart them are awesome combat scenes and ridiculous yet amusing story ideas. It remains a heist flick, but it really is entertaining, and the hilltop samurai climax, influenced by the iconic graphic novel tale “Silent Interlude,” deserves the ticket price on its lonesome.
